a vent...and a question ok, so just before christmas i returned to my hometown. one night while i was out drinking i ran into a friend. we hugged and later i bought her a drink. by the end of the night we had messed around, and i really enjoyed it. she did too! since then, things have been off and on. we kept in close contact and after we both returned to the bay area, we continued to talk a lot everyday, have dinners, hang out at the park, give massages etc. of course, this was all under the guise of just being friends and strictly platonic. she is friends with my ex b/f and so being together was weird for her or so she said. then we messed around a little at a party one night and the next night she invited me to dinner and i stayed the night. the following day, she began with "we can't be together because of your ex" again. we ended that conversation with the understanding that we would have a casual relationship where we could both see other people. since then, i have barely talked to her at all. i dunno what the deal is. we used to text and multiple times a day. now, i can hardly get a response if i text her. ugh! seriously, are all girls this complicated?? i am a little confused and sad that this fling ruined our friendship. at the same time, i sooooo want to be with a woman. i have not been with many. where can i go in the city to meet women? i am still pretty new here.

She lives far from you? Then remember it as a nice fling and move on. There's someone out there for you who won't have issues with your ex.

Grrr. How frustrating. All you can do is mvoe on and give her space. Sorry.
