Jobs now require a college degree while a few they didn't. Why is that? Did the job duties change that drastiy during those decades? Administrative assistants are a perfect example. Why would you need a BA for this? Just another way to get fucked. Tutition inflation three times the CPI for sucessive decades. Student loan debt. Four years of not earning anything. Just to get to zero. Our parents were at zero once they graduated high school at 18. It's just more bullshit. A product of too many people in this world.

High school standards dropped. the average HS graduate now can barely text at a 8th grade level!
